Evaluation of Final Outcome

Overall I am happy with my cell animation and its outcome, hopefully it will get a few laughs from the audience. I believe that this project was certainly challenging for me because I found it to be very hard work, you need to have a very logical approach to animation and i think i have tackled the problems that i came across very well. I found this project to be an eye opener for myself and I believe that I am not cut out for animation but now i i really appreciate how much work animators do to produce a piece of work.

In comparison to my previous animation this is one is executed a lot better.

Final Animation

This my final animation and I am quite happy with the outcome of it. For some reason the sound isn't working, i'm not sure why but I will fix this if I can.

Here's a link for my edited music that I used for my animation, if you play them both simultaneously you can see that it works very well. I will try and fix the sound problem asap!

This is the music that i have edited and will be using in my animation. The dramatic cut off during this clip is when the screen will go blank and then you will see the drips coming from the carnivorous ice creams

if that doesnt work. here's a link to my soundcloud track where a copy of it should be

Music Timing

this is the original track length, obviously the duration of this song is far too long for my animation. so i have to cut it down and select the part of the track that i want which happens to be the last 19 seconds.

here i have cropped the track to the bit that i want, i have added the track to my animation and i believe that it has worked out to be very well.

Starting Animation/Beginners

I have started to do some animation for beginners exercises from a textbook that i got from the library i found these to be very useful as it gives me a better understanding of creating movement in animations, which is what i mainly struggled with in my first animation - unfortunately the frames wont upload neither will the videos so alternatively here is my flickr page to view the frames for all the sequences/exercises and animations i did from the animation textbook.

Also here is my first stop motion video i did earlier on as research

Melting/Drips

Changes i want to make - the drips are moving too fast so im going to slow them down, also so shadowing on the the drips would make them more three dimensional

This is the new and improved eating scene to my liking.

I think that the scene is too quick, its missing out shadowing on the ice creams and there isnt enough movement to it when falling down so im going to rotate the ice cream as it is falling through the sky and hits the ground.

This is the new and improved falling scene with my changes.

I have missed out the background and i think im going to change the writing to a more suitable font rather than my rubbish handwritting

This is the new and improved oh no scene, with the new font and background included.

Eyes Moving

Here I have made the moons eyes follow the cool whip around in space to give the moon a sense of movement and character.
