I think there are some improvements that can be made from this animation. Firstly the characters didn't look professionally made, originally I thought the hand-drawn characters would have some sort of charm to them but in actual fact they just looked awful. So from this I will create some new characters in photoshop drawing inspiration from my research and previous designs.
Secondly I think I need to develop a certain style for the characters. I think doing the characters in a Kawaii sort of style would suit as they are charming and quite cute. This would make my audience pay more attention to them.
There are some good aspects to the animation like the music timing and the colours I have used, but I want to make the ice creams more life like maybe adding drip movements in it? Possibly some more characters with a bit more personality to them?
All in all after doing this first draft I have a better idea of what I need to do now to make this animation more successful.
